This place is so good! It's a hidden gem, I stopped by on a day off not expecting much but I got the chicken teryaki and was pleasantly surprised when I realized it's a meal forn2 people! And it was delicious! I've come back pretty frequently and have always found the food to be delicious and generous portions. Also the employees are super friendly! I'm just sad they dont do juices anymore otherwise great spot!

I live right down the block and have been consistently stopping by on my way to and or from work whenever I can. The food is beyond gnarly delicious, it's something a about the way he prepares teriyaki it's wonderful! Coffee and breakfast delicious as well! Never disappointed!

Honestly, this place makes one of the most consistent, delicious burgers I've had on the west side for under $10. I eat here almost daily, not because how close it is or how affordable it is, but truly for the quality. Try this place and you will understand why Ray's is a staple for many who live/work in the area

Hearty Deli is open weekdays 8am-4pm. Their most popular items are burgers and teriyaki chicken. I tried a sample of the teriyaki chicken and really enjoyed the peppery savory flavor. It's a large portion that comes with white rice. Watch out for the spicy pickled peppers! Cheesesteak also comes with fries and a soda. Breakfast burritos are also recommended.

Whoa! This place exceeded my expectations, I mean, look at the place... it's a hole in the wall with amazing food, affordable prices, and fresh ingredients.
I went with a Teriyaki Burger. I'm not a fan of "sweet burgers" so I knew it was a risk, but one I was willing to take and man oh man, i'm glad I did! DELICIOUS! It's your classic old school cheeseburger, not too greasy patty, with lettuce, tomato, onions, cheese (swiss?) the teriyaki sauce added just the right tanginess which was a surprise as it was not too sweet. And to top it all off the pineapple slice was perfect.
I am not a fan of Teriyaki Burgers, but I am craving this one as I'm writing this review. It's just so good.
5 Stars for portion size, affordability, taste, service, and fresh ingredients.
